Nha Trang Tops Korean Travelers’ Summer Wish List

20/07/2025 07:30 - Mai - Domestic News

Known for its turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, and vibrant marine life, Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa province is a premier coastal city in Vietnam—and this summer, it’s also the most searched international destination among Korean tourists, according to travel platform Agoda. The city has overtaken Tokyo, last year’s favorite, pushing Japan’s capital to second place, followed by Fukuoka, Osaka, and Đà Nẵng.

Amidst South Korea’s early summer heatwaves and ongoing global inflation, Korean travelers are increasingly choosing nearby, affordable destinations with short flight times—making Nha Trang an ideal escape.

Since the pandemic, South Korea has surpassed China to become the largest source of international tourists to Khanh Hoa. In 2024, the province welcomed 4.8 million international visitors, including over 2.4 million Koreans. The trend continues in 2025, with more than 1 million South Korean visitors arriving in the first five months alone—a 4.1% increase year-on-year.

Currently, nine airlines from Vietnam and South Korea operate 19 direct flights daily from major Korean cities such as Seoul, Busan, and Daegu to Cam Ranh International Airport, reinforcing Nha Trang’s status as a Korean favorite.
